This week in Wellington saw the annual celebration of Books published for children in Aotearoa New Zealand. As a warm up to the celebrations and award giving on Monday night, Unity Books Wellington hosted a lunchtime discussion; with representatives of NZ’s Children’s publishers discussing each others books up for awards. There was lively discussion with much enthusiasm for a range of titles featuring penguins, moa, mice, octopuses, and even plain old human beings!
