On Tuesday the 27th of August Unity Books Wellington was proud to launch Hungry & Frozen, a new cookbook by Wellington local Laura Vincent.
After running the well-known cooking blog (of the same name) Laura has transformed Hungry & Frozen into a shiny new cookbook showcasing recipes for all occasions. Whether you are having a grand dinner party or want an alternative to microwave noodles that doesn’t break the budget, Laura has you covered in this compendium of good taste.
Laura was introduced by Julie Clark, from local institution Floriditas. After deserved praise for the chef-blogger turned chef-author, Laura stepped up. Delivering a speech to savour, complete with hilarious anecdotes, warm appreciation and the wise words of Leslie Knope.
The night was capped off by Laura happily signing copies for the hungry crowd, while food, beverages and conversation were enjoyed by all.
