Launch Update: Mortal Fire by Elizabeth Knox

Launch Update: Mortal Fire by Elizabeth Knox

On Thursday the 6th of June we launched Mortal Fire, the latest offering from Elizabeth Knox, author of The Vintner’s Luck, Dreamhunter, and Dreamquake. It was not Elizabeth’s first launch with us, but it was our first time hosting Gecko Press, which we’re very grateful for.

Mortal Fire is set in the same world as the Dreamhunter duet, but is a standalone novel with very different characters. It follows Canny Mochrie, a bright and logical sixteen year old who discovers the secrets permeating her world.

Julia Marshall (publisher at Gecko Press) opened the evening and Kirsten McDougall (author of The Invisible Rider) introduced Elizabeth and the book. Check out the photos below – photos © Matt Bialostocki // Unity Books
