We periodically check the performance of our suppliers to ensure we are offering customers the best overall experience and to check our prices are competitive. This press release was in response to somewhat vexing support for foreign companies over local options in various publications. We wanted to test our intuition that ordering books from Amazon was not necessarily any cheaper or faster than using Unity Books, and this experiment supported this hypothesis.
