This issue of the NZ Bookseller & Publisher as well as articles and advertisements, carried the decisions of the Indecent Publications Tribunal Decisions: The Pearl (Anonymous)*, Call Me Brick (Munroe Howard) and Sadopaideia (Anonymous) were deemed indecent, while Harriet Marwood – Governess (Anonymous) was not indecent**.

*except in the hands of those over 18 years old engaged in specific research.
